Ghana U20 star Clifford Aboagye donated two set of jerseys and other sporting kits to his former colts club Zinaps FC to show appreciation for developing him as a young talent.
The 18-year-old was arguably Ghana�s best performer at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
Aboagye helped the Black Satellites to a third-place finish after recovering from a disastrous start to their campaign.
He also emerged one of the best players of the tournament as he was named winner of the bronze ball ďż˝ an award for the third best player of the competition.
The Inter Allies player who has been sold to Italian club Udinese has since been basking in the joy of a successful team and individual achievemenmt at the World Cup.
He however took time to visit his roots in Teshie where he was a surprise guest at a colts game involving his former side Zinaps FC.
The skillful but dimunitive midfielder interected with players and officials of the youth side after which he made a donation of sporting kits.
�This is where it all started for me and it was important to come back and say thank you to everyone here and also help in my small way to ensure more talents are produced from this colts club,� he said during the presentation.
The team of players and coaches thanked their former player for his magnanimity and prayed his star keeps shining as he begins his adventure in Europe.
