Contrary to reports, would-be Ghana coach Avram Grant did not travel to Tamale to watch Wednesdays 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo.
Israeli, who arrived in the country last week to finalize details about his salary and other entitlements, had planned to watch the final qualifier but changed his plans.
Grant was expected to be unveiled after concluding discussions and reaching an agreement with the Ghana FA.
The Israeli travelled to the United Kingdom on Tuesday as he awaits news of his confirmation by the end of the week.
The Ghana FA is scheduled to meet the Sports Ministry to brief the sector minister Mahama Ayariga for approval or rejection.
