The Black Stars of Ghana have dropped two places (35 to 37) in the November Fifa rankings released on Thursday.
Ghana placed 35th in the last edition but went down to 37th despite topping Group E and qualifying to partake in the Africa Cup of Nations 2015 in Equatorial Guinea.
Ghana's opponent Guinea moved 17 places to finish 38th on the back of two victories in the Nations Cup qualifiers.
A total of 150 new �A� international matches have been taken into account for the November edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, bringing the total number of matches evaluated in 2014 to 817. Sixty-one of these matches were part of continental qualifiers in Europe, Africa and the CONCACAF region, with the other 89 being friendly matches.
In the top 10 African rankings, Algeria lead after emerging 18th on the global rankings followed by Tunisia (22nd), Ivory Coast (24th), Senegal (35th), Ghana (37th), Guinea (38th), Cape Verde (39th), Cameroon 41st, Nigeria (42nd) and Mali (49th).
