Ghana launched their African Under 20 campaign with a glittering start after beating South Africa 2:0 in the opening match in Mbour.
The Black Satellites shot ahead in the 10th minute though Maphosa Modiba's own goal and Benjamin Tetteh's spectacular lob in the 43rd minute gave Ghana a comfortable two goals lead before the break.
The emphatic win was a perfect response to Coach Sellas Tetteh's call on his boys to make "an ideal" start.
The Satellites will now look forward to registering another win against Zambia on Thursday to inch closer to their dream of being one of Africa's representatives at the Fifa Under 20 World Cup.
Zambia will play Mali in the second match of group B.
