Goalkeeper Soulama Abdulai will miss Hearts of Oak’s league fixture against rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The 34-year-old will not be in action for the Phobians due to suspension.
Soulama received a straight red card in Hearts ‘s 4-0 demolishing over Heart of Lions at the Cape Coast Stadium hence serving a three-match suspension which ultimately rules him out of the cagey tie on Sunday.
The Burkinabe’s absence could serve as a huge blow for the Phobians who will be hoping to secure the bragging rights over their bitter rivals.
The former ASFA Yennega and Asante Kotoko shot-stopper has been the regular number one for the Rainbow Club this season.
Interim Coach Eddie Ansah would have no option than to choose between Tetteh Lugard and Seidu Mutawakilu who have all been criticized over poor performance.
Hearts will be looking forward in getting themselves out of the relegation zone with a win over the Porcupine Warriors while Kotoko will be hoping to secure their second successive win having defeated League leaders Ashanti Gold last week.
Both Hearts and Kotoko are having a patchy run in the League this term as the two teams occupy the 14th and 10th positions respectively.
