Chief Drummer of the Black Stars, Joseph Langabelle, has returned to the team after being out for a year.
Langabelle who was one of the casualties from Ghana’s disastrous world cup campaign in Brazil joined the team for their final training session in Washington ahead of the game on Tuesday.
His return marks an end to a year of absence, as he was one of the causalities of a massive shake-up in both the technical and management membership of the team.
Renowned for his psychological role in psyching up the team ahead of games, he showed little signs of being rusty after leading the stars to a mandatory “JAMA” session after their final training session ahead of the game against Canada.
It now remains to be seen if his return will be a flash in the pan or he is back to stay.
