Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is likely to be handed the famous number 10 jersey at AC Milan on his return to the club, according to reports.
Boateng's agent has confirmed the 28-year-old will return to Milan in January though he is still under contract with Schalke 04.
The former Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder has been training with Milan for close to 8 weeks and he seems to have satisfied Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Milan President Berlusconi has sanctioned Boateng's return to the club.
Rumours have been going round about the jersey number to be worn by the controversial midfielder. But he is tipped to take over the number shirt currently worn by Japanese Keisuke Honda.
Honda's contract with Milan runs out in January is already looking out for a new deal with a club away from the Serie A.
If the attacking midfielder leaves his shirt will be handed to Boateng.
Boateng used the jersey number before exiting Milan three seasons ago.
