Ghana defender Awal Mohammed is not worried about his recent snub from the Black Stars team.
Awal has not received a call-up to the Black Stars team since the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
The former Asante Kotoko center-back has been one of the highly-rated foreign players in the Moroccan League having excelled with Raja Casablanca.
The 24-year-old is unfazed with his recent exclusion from the Black Stars team.
“We are all Ghanaians and we have a lot of us outside the country and inside the country so everyone is there to get an opportunity,” he told Citi FM’s Rahman Osman.
“I had my opportunity and someone can also get his opportunity so is like that becase we have many players in Ghana so we will try our best.”
Awal Mohammed played a key role in Ghana’s participation at the 2013 Cup of Nations in South Africa.
