Kevin-Prince Boateng appears to have put the final nail in the coffin over a potential return to the Black Stars, claiming he loses nothing if he does not represent the West Africans at the international level again.
Boateng, 30, has been frozen out of the national team since 2014 after he verbally abused coach Kwesi Appiah during Ghana's wrecked 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil.
However, Coach Appiah has revealed his readiness to recall the suspended Las Palmas ace alongside Sulley Muntari back into the team on his second stint.
But Boateng has revealed he has no desire of returning to the team claiming he loses nothing over the snub.
"If you call me, the National Team would be very happy, then we'll see if I could play there. I'm missing nothing, I'm just missing the family a little closer, the rest I have everything." he said after signing a three-year contract extension with the Spanish side.
Boateng has been revived since he joined the La Liga side, scoring ten goals in his debut season.

I stand with you bro KPB, it's sometimes annoying to see how people in authority in this country acts as if they provide us oxygen to breathe. You have said nothing but the truth. You lose nothing, and I have always maintained that you made a mistake to even appear ever for this unrewarding country
Why do we as Ghanaians want to dabble in pettiness at all times? KPB has said nothing wrong and it is the absolute truth he has brought out. We know why the Black Stars are not progressing and we are shy or afraid to say so. Allow the gentleman to concentrate on his profession and don't draw him into this squabble at all.
KPB tells the truth as it is. His choice to play for Ghana has not added anything to him. If he had remained a German international, he would be playing for a top club. Ghana is poor because we worship our leaders. Kwasi Appiah and Kwasi Nyantakyi made serious mistakes in the 2016 World Cup. The inclusion of two players - Jordan Ayew and Christian Atsu has been our biggest misfortune. And that is why we could not qualify for Russia 2018. So KPB has been proven right. He was the only brave person who had the courage to speak up against it. Cowards in Ghana must keep quiet. If a coach will bypass KP Boateng and Kwadwo Asamoah and select Jordan Ayew and Christian Atsu to replace them upfront, everyone must condemn it. If you cannot condemn it, you are the problem. Let KPB be! He is 30, Ghana will not go to Russia and it is likely he will not be young enough for Qatar 2022. So he has nothing to lose. Ghanaians have everything to lose by supporting a system where old people are always right. That is what is destroying our country!
Never mind Ghanaian especially GFA and So called Kwesi Appiah
That's his view.....there's nothing wrong with that.....We all need a 2nd chance...even looking at the crop of players we have now We need Sulley and Kevin in the team
If he actually said that please let us respect his views. He said he is losing NOTHING, and it is TRUE. Are we also losing something? Let us be frank, if we are also not losing anything then why are we SHOUTING? Let us focus on our game, PERIOD.
I have realised that since Ghana New Coach Akwasi Appiah mentioned that 'he doors are openned to Kevin and Muntari, if they are playing well'. And it is clear that both are doing well in their respective clubs. To that end, it seems there is crusade going on to blackmail Kevin. Some of the people who hurt to see Kevin back in the Black Star have started publishing bad news about him recently and the above article is one of them...Why? Why do some people hurt to see their fellow brother going up of the ladder. If Akwasi Appaiah deserve a second chance so is everybody. We all deserve a second chance. Leave the poor chap alone. After all Kevin was not the one who caused the mess in Brazil. The TRUTH must be told
Yes I agree with you, you lose nothing so will we also lose nothing. We hate indiscipline and arrogance, even if you are Pele.
I have realised that sine Ghana New Coach Akwasi Appiah made mentioned that he doors are openned to Kelvin and Muntari, if they are playing well.
