Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has been urged to be bold and be timely with his substitutions.
The Black Stars drew 0-0 with defending Champions Cameroon in their second Group F game of the 2019 AFCON ongoing in Egypt.
The team has now managed just two points from a possible six leaving the game against Guinea Bissau a must win.
The introductions of Asamoah Gyan and Kwabena Owusu in the game gave the Black Stars some firepower and enabled the team to create some decent chances which were unfortunately fluffed.
Some Ghanaians who watched the game at the Ismailia Stadium in Egypt believe that the Black Stars would have won the match had Gyan and Owusu come on earlier.
They expressed satisfaction with the result observing that the players’ performance today was an improvement on Tuesday’s disappointing draw with Benin but hold that the result would have been better had Kwesi Appiah been bold and timely with his substitutions.
The Black Stars will return to action on Tuesday in a win or bust game against the less-fancied Guinea-Bissau.

Must all of us play football in the country ? Or you don’t know it’s our tax payers money that’s been waisted in Egypt. Who cares who plays soccer or or not in this country. But when our money is going down the drain we must speak about it. If you really pay tax in this country you will know how it feels like for your sweat to be misused
What at all is wrong with Ghanaian, whoever the coach field we have a problem with it, the criticizing is too much, the whites could not win cup for us, so it would not be news if Kwesi Appiah can not deliver.
HAVE YOU EVER KICKED A SOCCER BALL BEFORE?? STAY IN YOUR LANE
Kwesi Appiah is simply clueless and has only been experimenting with players since he was appointed. He's totally clueless and have no idea when it comes to player deployment on the pitch. His player selection again Benin was abysmal particularly when he had K. Asamoah and Baba Rahman on the bench.
That dull guy is not a coach. He knows nothing to coaching. He was a good footballer doesn’t mean he is a good coach. The whole country is waisting tax payers money on that guy. That whole thing we keep saying local coach local coach is fiasco. There’s no wisdom in giving a job to such a clueless person all in the name of local coach. Let’s give the job to a qualified coach and stop all this non ..........sense local coach thing that is not helping anyone. If we have a local coach that can do the job why not
