Black Stars deputy skipper Kwadwo Asamoah has admitted that he was not at his best against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in their second Group F match.
The 30-year-old confirmed that he struggled on the left side of midfield during his debut game against Cameroon.
He lasted for 75 minutes in Ghana's 0-0 draw with Cameroon where he was replaced by Asamoah Gyan.
“It wasn’t the best game for me because I know what I can do when I play my normal position," Asamoah said after the match.
''I had difficulties in terms of positions but defensively it wasn’t a problem for me.
“I was playing as a left sided midfielder which I’m not very comfortable with but I’m so happy with the result and I tried to do my best for the team.

Ahhhhaaaahhhh s3 wahu? s333 s3m f...... yi nti na mese womo mra fie no ooo h33333hhh? To the Coach who is very "use plus less" why wont he place the player in a bad position. To the player who is saying this, i know how coaches switched him left right center in Juventus and he never complained. Well i do not want my heart pain to come; they should come home quick quick
Kojo Asamoah is always complaining. This is boring. I have seen people from defence score in this tournament. Score the goal and stop blaming other people on the field.
I pray comments on the team should be encouraging at this time; discouraging comments would NOT help at all.
Oyiwa! Ihave always maintained that Kwasi Appiah have always been experimenting with player selection and deployment and Kwadwo Asamoah has vindicated me
