Hearts of Oak's Samuel Boadu is the Ghana Football Awards Male Coach of the Year for 2021 on Saturday, 3 July.
The astute tactician pipped Great Olympics' Annor Walker and Ghana U20 boss Abdul Karim Zito.
Boadu was a surprise choice for the award especially when Zito led the Black Satellites to win the 2021 CAF U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
He is on the verge of guiding Hearts of Oak to their first Ghana Premier League title since 2009 with three matches to the end of the season.
His triumph helped Hearts of Oak complete hat-trick of awards on the night.
The Phobians were named Team of the Year beating Asante Kotoko, Great Olympics and the title-winning Ghana U20 team.
The third edition of the Ghana Football Awards was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
